Home Care

Home care – also called senior care and in-home caregiving – is a service provided by local Home Instead offices that regularly send a Care Professional to a person’s home or care community to help them accomplish activities of daily living, such as bathing, doing the laundry and meal preparation.

  • Provides individualized care plans with one-on-one attention.
  • Helps older adults maintain their independence and dignity as they age.
  • Offers the vital companionship needed to prevent loneliness and isolation.
  • Helps older adults age in place.
How Does Home Care Work?

When you choose home care, you’ll receive an individual care plan designed to help the entire family achieve quality of life goals. The plan can be tailored to individualized needs – based on your input. Your Care Pro(s) will then be scheduled to arrive at the appointed time each day or week to provide compassionate, personalized care.

How Can Home Care Help Me?

A professional care taker can help older adults or those with chronic health conditions complete all kinds of routine activities, such as bathing, dressing, cooking, and housework to make daily life easier and safer. The professionals  can also help family members by delivering expert care that gives everyone peace-of-mind and relieves any feelings of caregiving being “burdensome.”  They may also may enjoy socializing by chatting, engaging in activities like puzzles or crafts and listening to music.

How Can I Tell My Loved One Needs Home Care

Your parents or other loved ones may benefit from home care if they exhibit any of these signs:

  • Decline in personal hygiene
  • Lost interest in cooking
  • Diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another form of dementia
  • Forgets to pay bills
  • Forgets to take medications
  • Needs help getting up and down from chairs or sofas
  • Falls frequently
  • Has limited mobility
  • Diminished driving skills
  • Has a chronic disease like arthritis that makes tasks like opening jars or buttoning a shirt difficult

Your elderly loved ones’ golden years is a particularly sensitive time.

This is the stage in their lives when they would already need extra care and assistance in their day-to-day living. This is why we have made it our mission to go the extra mile for them—providing them with quality care services that are at the lowest price possible.

Every senior goes through a different set of challenges. It is for this reason that we personalize the care we provide while making sure that its quality stays consistent throughout the care plan of our patients. This combination of care is only possible through years of experience; something that we have gained as a non-medical home care agency
