- HOME CARE LICENSE
Butterfly Bound Care is fully Licensed under the Minnesota Department of Health . A home care provider must hold a current license to operate in the state of Minnesota.
Providers with a comprehensive home care license are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Health. The service is for people who, because of an illness, disability, or physical condition, cannot perform the tasks for themselves, or who cannot travel to receive health services.
A licensed comprehensive home care agency may provide the services of licensed health professionals such as:
* Nurses
* Physical, speech-language, and occupational therapists
* Dieticians or nutritionists
* Social workers
The services may include medication management, complex medical care like tube feedings and ventilator care, and other health-related procedures. Sometimes health-related tasks are delegated to and performed by unlicensed personnel under the supervision of nurses or other licensed health professionals.
Home care providers with a comprehensive license also assist people with non-medical tasks such as going to the bathroom, bathing, and transferring from one location to another.
The friendship, socialization and emotional support we provide your loved one with our home care services is just as important as our daily tasks and chores. Our caregivers form strong bonds with our clients that give everyone involved – you and your loved one – a sense of security and peace of mind.
This emotional support facilitates comfort and healing. We understand the challenges your loved one faces, and we display respect, trust and compassion at all times.
Butterfly Bound Care is my pride and joy. Each and every client is special to me. I am involved with every case and every client. I often attend family meetings and personally provide valuable advice and assistance in making decisions about care.
Thank you,
Doreen Kalema
The terms “home health” and “home care” sound a lot alike, but they are very different services. Butterfly Bound Care wants you to know the kinds of care you need.
“Home health care provides professional medical services such as direct care (i.e. catheter care, wound/ostomy care), medication teaching and administration as ordered by a physician, nutritional counseling, etc.
“Home care services are non-clinical and include services such as medication reminders, companionship, meal prep, supervising or assisting with bathing, etc.
Our caregivers are trained and experienced, and they can help your loved one with a whole range of services.
We are fully licensed and insured and dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of those that prefer to stay at home.
