Butterfly Bound Care is fully Licensed under the Minnesota Department of Health . A home care provider must hold a current license to operate in the state of Minnesota.
We offer regularly scheduled individualized health-related and supportive services provided to a person who resides in one of our residential centers (apartment buildings) that is a registered housing with services establishment.
24-hour customized living services include 24-hour on site supervision in addition to services provided by home care aides, home health aides or residential staff.
24-hour customized living services include individualized supports:
- Chosen and designed specifically for each person’s needs
- Provided only in a registered housing with services establishment.
Other services include:
- 24-hour supervision and oversight
- Arranging for or providing transportation
- Assisting the person with personal funds
- Assisting the person with setting up meetings or appointments
- Home care aide tasks
- Home management tasks
- Meal preparation
- Socialization
24-hour on site supervision means:
- A method for the person to summon assistance
- 24-hour customized living employee available to respond, in person, to the request within a reasonable amount of time, and
- Ongoing awareness of person’s needs and activities provided by an employee of the 24-hour customized living provider.

The terms “home health” and “home care” sound a lot alike, but they are very different services. Butterfly Bound Care wants you to know the kinds of care you need.
“Home health care provides professional medical services such as direct care (i.e. catheter care, wound/ostomy care), medication teaching and administration as ordered by a physician, nutritional counseling, etc.
“Home care services are non-clinical and include services such as medication reminders, companionship, meal prep, supervising or assisting with bathing, etc.
We provide home care to Seniors, Elderly and others dealing with physical or mental challenges or disabilities. We provide hourly, daily or round-the-clock care.
We are fully licensed and insured and dedicated to enhancing the quality of life of those that prefer to stay at home.
